My mother died last night Easter

Remember that whatever happens now, you can always have a memorial Mass said for her after the fact. I’m sure a priest would be happy to help you with that once things return more to normal.

Prayed for her soul and for you on my nightly rosary just now. ❤️

I imagine her in Our Ladys arms. She was a wonderful woman…yet as she got older all she did was scream at others using curse words.

That’s when I decided not to visit her. She could t help it. I am so sad to lose a vibrant and humorous mom…the mom I choose to remember.
Please pray for my son A. I shielded my kids from her last years and he is most devastated.

Give courage to Katie in her time of loss and sorrow. Be her refuge and strength, O Lord, reassure her of your continuing love and lift her from the depths of grief into the peace and light of your presence. Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, by dying has destroyed our death, and by rising, restored our life.

Your Holy Spirit, our comforter, speaks for us in groans too deep for words. Come alongside your people, remind them of your eternal presence and give them your comfort and strength.
