I want to thank everyone for offering so many prayers for my mother. Especially you, Vim71. I know your prayers have helped her.
It has been one year since her stroke, and while she has not made a full recovery, she is able to walk around the house with a cane. She’s been able to get out lately, able to visit other people and attend events. She can care for her own basic needs- make food in the morning, etc. And wonderfully, she’s able to speak! Not much, but she can use words and phrases to communicate. We have been so blessed to have her with us still, and I am glad that her quality of life is that good.
