My mother had a stroke

Please pray for my mother. She had a stroke the day before Mother’s Day and did not recieve treatment for several hours. The doctors said she may never be able to speak again, but she will not die and her personality will probably be intact. Also pray for her two children, myself and my younger brother.

We are very sad and scared right now. She was our only guardian, and we don’t think she will be able to care for us- not any time soon, and probably never again. While I am happy that her personality will remain, I am still numb about it and very uncertain about my own future.

If you could pray to St. Augustine, that’d be cool, too. He was her favorite saint, and I’ve been pestering him all day. :o Raphael can’t hurt, either, since he’s awesome and actually specializes in healing. 🙂
 
Divine Healer and Physician, I pray for this mother, and this family, that you may grant them the strength and necessary healing. Please grant this mother the healing and fast recovery. Mother Mary, on this day, please pray for this person and family.

Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me the favor I seek in this novena For KamaDuck’s mother. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the saint of miracles. O gentle and loving Saint Augustine, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, who loved to talk to you about the Trinity and the gratitude of my heart will always be yours.

Thank you so much, everyone. My mother is still in the hospital and cannot speak, but she seems to be feeling better today. 🙂 The doctors are hoping that in a few days she can begin physical therapy. :o

My brother and myself are OK so far. We’re still not sure what exactly is going to happen, but lots of people have come forward to support us. 🙂
