Had argument with her regarding this. She told me I was being judgmental. I argued that the couple should at least sleep in separate rooms under her roof. I feel that she is accommodating evil.

It’s her decision. In your house you do what you know is right. Pray for her and for your cousin.

It is true that homosexual “couples” should not be a “couple”.

It is good that you have told your mother the proper information.

You can not “make” the couple change their life, nor can you “make” your mother understand.

You can only be responsible for yourself.

You can pray for your cousin and his friend and pray for your mother.

Maybe she will feel the effects of your prayers. Maybe she will want to discuss this again. Maybe one day she will understand. Do not allow it to take away your peace. She must be very misguided by today’s popular opinion on what is right and wrong.

Maybe your prayers will have an effect on your cousin and his friend.

I’m sorry you are troubled and pray you too have peace.

Her house, her rules. Period.

It was good of you to remind her of the Church’s teaching but you should not bring it up again.

Is this your cousin whom you are his confirmation sponsor?

It probably brings you great pains that not only is he your dear cousin who has fallen into homosexual behavior, but if you are his sponsor, you probably have an even stronger desire to assist him spiritually.

May the Holy Spirit bring you peace as you pray for your dear cousin. May the Holy Spirit guide your dear cousin to the Truth. May the Holy Spirit guide your mother.

Her house, her rules. All you can do is to pray. Keep in mind though that she is your mother, and what ever she may do or don’t, she will always be your mum, no matter what.
