Hello:
My mother is dying.
She’s 95 years of age, and was recently hospitalized and treated for the flu and pneumonia. She’s been through a lot during the course of her lifetime; many years ago she almost died from an aneurysm that burst in her head. She lived through a head on car accident and survived colon cancer.
This time, however, I’m afraid that she has come to the end of her life. At this point her body is shutting down; she’s unresponsive, no longer speaks, and pretty much lays in bed asleep most of the time… I don’t expect her to live many more days. I don’t know what she’s feeling, but I hope and pray that she’s not in any kind of pain and that her death will be a peaceful one.
So if whoever is reading this won’t mind… please say a little prayer for my mother.
I’d be grateful for that.
Thank you.
