Look I was a young teen once…and I was actually seeking full communion with the Church at that time…so I understand that one can have great zeal and still yet need to learn various aspects 🙂

Im just upset I have to leave Catholicism
One thing for certain you do not have to and in fact cannot leave the Church.

No one can erase that indelible mark on your soul (as do the Sacrament of Confirmation)

Even if your put on a remote desert island and tied to a tree while various other Christians prayed and sang and preached and groups of pagans preformed their rites in front of you and even if Muslims built a Mosque around — you you would still be a Catholic Christian.

Don’t leave the Church. Do whatever you can to stay faithful to the Church. But as others have said, it would definitely not be a good idea to refer to Protestants as heretics, especially to your mother. If you do that, you may very well just make tensions between your mother and yourself even worse. It is true that Protestants have some false doctrines. They also have some Truth. I believe the Church usually refers to Protestants as our separated brethren.

If I don’t I will be grounded. I may have to convert to Protestantism or Islam to please my mother because she loves these religions.
well if your mother is asking you to do something against truth its not valid -

if you are forced to attend a protestant denomination you can inform them that you are being their against your will and if inject the Catholic Truth to anything they say

and question the Authority of the denomination and their interpretation of scripture

A venial lie is better than missing Mass and going to a protestant service, which would be mortal.
One can not do evil as a means to a good.

One should find another way to do the good (or if one cannot do the good – then it can be a case of impossibility…)

Catechism:

1753 A good intention (for example, that of helping one’s neighbor) does not make behavior that is intrinsically disordered, such as lying and calumny, good or just. The end does not justify the means. Thus the condemnation of an innocent person cannot be justified as a legitimate means of saving the nation. On the other hand, an added bad intention (such as vainglory) makes an act evil that, in and of itself, can be good (such as almsgiving).39

You don’t “have to.” Is being grounded worth staying in the Catholic Faith to you?
This

I would be grounded any day that be forced to do things I clearly don not believe in

look to the martyrs

I said this many times to them, they get very upset and don’t care for anything I say, its just we are all equal and we are all going to heaven.

Even though you be forced against your will to not attend the Catholic Church, remain in the Catholic Faith. Continue to live and follow our Catholic Faith even amongst persecution. Try to partake of the Sacraments whenever it is possible to do so. Study the Faith and practice it no matter what people do to you. Hang in there. You have friends to pray for you. 👍

As Jesus teaches us a prophet is a prophet except in among ones own…

So they are not going to necessarily listen.

But in what one does say …one needs to present the Catholic Faith as the Church does and dialogue as the Church does …and avoid such terms as “heretics”.

No it would not be better.

Until such time that the OP is 18, she must follow her mother’s rules. If the rules are that the OP doesn’t attend Mass, but instead goes to a protestant service, then that is what she does.

Missing Mass would not be, at that time, a mortal sin. (Remember the 3 conditions of a mortal sin.)

Once the OP is an adult and able to support herself, she will then be required to go to Mass.

And, OP, in the meantime, I would suggest that you don’t pick fights with your mother by calling her or your grandmother, heretics. It would be better to quietly attend the services required by your mother, and keep Catholicism in your heart. When you are able, go back to worshiping as you wish.

Faith, Hope, Love, gentleness, patience, kindness etc.

Read 1 Peter 3:15 especially

I would say, gently, that many Catholics in the world have suffered more than being grounded for the sake of their faith. It didn’t stop them.

I say brave being grounded and use the mortification as an offering to convert the Mother! Haha enemies think they can use fear towards us but what they don’t understand is the more they persecute us, the more ammo we get to give to God for their conversion!
