My nephew Charlie, more surgery

It’s a long time since I made a personal prayer request,

however my sister’s youngest, Charlie, recently had urgent knee surgery, in order that he can continue walking,
but sadly the wire that was holding the patella in place following the surgery has torn out of its moorings.
Charlie has had some tough challenges in his life that have deeply pained his loving family.
The local hospital has recommended that Charlie be taken tomorrow to a specialist Sydney hospital for reparation surgery.

Please God the surgery will go well and Charlie can make yet another painful recovery process, with as little pain and distress as possible.
Please God also, the Australian winter ice and snow on the highway route will not cause delays or stoppages.

May God bless you who kindly pray for Charlie.

Dear Lord please hear our prayer for Charlie and grant him healing Amen

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Praying for Charlie’s health & recovery & successful surgical outcome. Praying for all’s safety in the winter weather.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Charlie. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Charlie’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
