All this trouble is the results of a condition brought on by the persistant decline in the ratio of world population to available resources and the heavy weight world leaders have known it for years. They have their parachutes packed and ready now. Population in this country alone has doubled in my lifetime and could potentially double again in just another 25 years. But it won’t because it can’t. Something has got to give and it’s going to be the survival of the fittest. The world population curve constantly increases through history unless you isolate certain European countries during the period of the Bubonic Plague. Population experts can calculate the growth curve fairly acurately with mathmatical formula very simmilar to those used by economist to calculate compound bank intrest. They can calculate the potential population curves in a petrie dish of bacteria or the pop curve of jack rabits in a field just as easily as the pop curve of humanity in on this planet. These calculations all point to a date somewhere neer to 2028 and that’s within many of our lifetimes. Good luck with your parachute.

Consider this… Staph germs, like the ones common in all hospitals have been found to appear in some appartment buildings in Chicago… and they are increasingtly becoming resistant to antibiotics. Look at those tall condo buildings in downtown Miami under construction now that have sprung up right on the same street where homeless people **** in the bushes and try to imagine what will come of them in 2028 and you’ll figure it out.

Depression…? I think not.

It’s a matter of degree… An ecconomic downturn that lasts only for months is known as a “recesison”. One that lasts several years is called a “Depression”… One that lasts for centuries, like the one that happened after the Roman Empire fell to the Barberians and lasted until the time of Florantine Dukes… that’s what the history books called the “Dark Ages”… and that’s what we’er gonna’ get now. Admit it. Look around yourself and see it.

Constitutional rights for terrorists…???

Sometimes I think that the Lawyers just want to keep things going just to create “Indusrty” for the sake of their pockets.

I’ll tell you what… consider how they have treated hostages that they have captured… they slice their throats with knives before video cameras and then broadcast that back to us.

When we can expect some kind of reciprocity from terrorists ( 'nutherwords… never…! ) that’s when I will support the idea of “…constitutional rights for terrorists”

Do I make sence…?

The logic fails.

And… when laws are codified on the basis of a falacy… there will be bad laws, and that is detremental.

Consider… If I were to press the law makers for a definition of the term “sexual orientation”… eventually it would come down to homosexuality ( among other things ) is a “sexual orientation”.

Hummm…

But isn’t homosexuality inherantly and by definition in fact a sexual dis-orientation…???

If these lawmakers can explain to me how a sexual orientation can be a sexual dis-orientation… then I will explain to you how one ( 1 ) can equal zero ( 0 ).
Code:
                           1 = 0 ...?!
                           Go figure...

Population estimation is far more complicated than computing compound interest. It involves many more variables, including fairly non-mathematical ones. Accurate population estimation involves several fields of mathematics, including abstractions like Game Theory and related, incredibly complex, mathematical reflections of political and geological realities.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at here. Did the staph germs jump from bushes that are no longer there? New properties are re-landscaped, which means demo contractors came in and removed those bushes, building contractors came in and built the houses, and then after that landscape contractors came in and put in entirely different bushes/trees/etc. There’s both a temporal and a spatial gap there.
that’s what the history books called the “Dark Ages”
Interestingly enough, modern historians no longer use the term “Dark Ages” for the most part. It’s now generally accepted that a decent amount of scholasticism and growth continued during this time; if it’s used now, it’s more a matter of convenience than anything.

the problem with history is that its possible, as the OP does, to read anything into it. “Dark Ages” referred a the lack of conteporary written accounts. modern historians, especially German historians, think of it as a period of change and synthesis, as the world of antiquity passed and europe was born.

is 2028 the Current Doomsday? I remember the good ol’ days when it was 1999, then 2000, then 2003, then 2005, and soon to be 2012, and after that … 2028. and always the same, the elites knew what was going on, they had their secret hideaways, only a few intrepid researchers knew the TRVTH, the rest of the public was blissfully unaware …

is 2028 the Current Doomsday? …
2028 is a date that represents a concensus of opinions based on exponential mathmatical formulation commonly used by people who know about the population studies. And the people in control know this…

👍

could you like, name names? or is this a secret?

It was a professor at the local college who gave me this information and I don’t remember his name now. He was Egyptian born and had a former career tith the United Nations. He was very knowlegeable and thurough.

Have you ever heard of “Demographic Winter”?..
Okay… I looked that over but I am more interested in the British theroriatitian from the 1800’s right now.

I read a statistic once, and I don’t know if it is true but if it is than it is a very telling one; I read once during the big Mexicano Illegal Imigrant debate that the number of needed migrant workers was approximately equal to the number of aborted babies in this country. Anybody have any comment on the accuracy of that statement.

Don’t ask me where I read that… I don’t remember now…

That was a good read, thank you. Here’s a Thomas Malthus quote saying the same thing just a little more eloquently than what I say above, but perhaps with a degree of optamism, I think.
“The power of population is so superior to the power of the earth to produce subsistence for man, that premature death must in some shape or other visit the human race. The vices of mankind are active and able ministers of depopulation. They are the precursors in the great army of destruction, and often finish the dreadful work themselves. But should they fail in this war of extermination, sickly seasons, epidemics, pestilence, and plague advance in terrific array, and sweep off their thousands and tens of thousands. Should success be still incomplete, gigantic inevitable famine stalks in the rear, and with one mighty blow levels the population with the food of the world.”
Malthus is describing the theoretical aspects and dynamics of population variances. I am convinced than we are heading for something far more catistrophic than anything we have seen in history. ( you’re not going to like this…) as I said above in my sophmoric attempt at these kinds of things that … although the world wide population curve has always risen, with the exception of isolated and localized examples where the Bubonic Plague has struck… that the overall world population curve, for the first time in history is going to hit it’s ceiling and come down, perhaps drastically, ( I told you… you’re not going to like this…) like a fizzled out lab experiment in a petrie dish just before it’s bacteria runs out of whatever it feeds on… Calculations point to 2028.

That’s what the Egytian college professor lectured us on, and I wouldn’t even have remembered this stuff if it didn’t make sence to me.

Anyway… that’s my nightmere.

Maso,

you might want to read Jared Diamond’s Collapse, how societies choose to fail or succeed. you’ll find it a good read on the stuff you’re interested in.

Jared Diamond is just another liberal appologist. I am interested in material of substance.

you’re not really interested in this subject, so, have fun with your “nightmere”.

Okay… maybe I should have said that a little less bluntly.

It looks to me like Jerrad is beating the drum for environmentalism and that is one aspect of this problem. That sells books and gets applause from the Pulitzer people.
