I’m almost 17 years old and day by day I’m becoming quite sure of my vocation. I started feeling the tug towards the Priesthood almost two years ago. Becoming an altar server last year, really strengthened my vocation. I told my priest about it last year and I suppossed he left me to think about it more because I never spoke to him again about it.He has been getting to know though, after I told him that.
Now is the time I think I should go to him again. What question should I ask him? Whats the next step? Should I ask him to refer me to the vocations director of the diocese?

Thanks

If you feel called, by all means approach your parish priest again. And ask him to refer you to your diocesan Vocational Director. But you might also ask him what else you could do for your parish. Many seminarians work in their parishes helping with Religious Education, faith formation etc. I hope your vocation, whatevr it is, flourishes … 👍

please talk to your priest again and ask him to set up an appointment with the vocations director, as it is time to be getting your college plans in place and you don’t want to waste time. They should also set you up with a spiritual director so you can get more guidance in your discernment. thank you thank you thank you from a grateful laity for answering the call.
