My sincerest apologies/ mom's mental decline

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for all the time and prayers you have given me over the years. Since my MIL passes away, I had a chance to sit down and walk on my family of origin issues. In the past month, I have been mourning the “spiritual” death of my parents. For my mom, it is a mental issue I suspect to be accurate based on a number of therapists I have seen. For my dad, he is now defending her (probably because she hawks over the phone when I call him). Now, neither of them will pick up the phone. Just prior, I had a laundry list of everything that offended me since goodness know when. So much was geared against my DH. I tried to keep peace for the sake of my son. However, he too has overheard raging at me. I really don’t know what triggers it.

The last time she did this, in 2015, I called her primary care doc to get her some help. She won’t…it"s none of his business. At least we had one happy visit before all you-know-what took place.

If you can spare a prayer or two, I would appreciate it.

I, too, have insane family issues. My shoulder is here if you ever need to just cry it all out. Shoulder, ears and most of all, heart.

Thank you so much. My son, God bless him, has been such a comfort to me! We’ve been spending a lot of time in Church (he’s in high demand to altar serve).

The Church has always been my place of rescue. I love my PREP class (thank you PianoClare) and feel like I am really making a difference on the world.
