Lord, dealing with chronic acute pain is so difficult and exhausting. Please give some relief to Your child, give her consolations, draw her near to You. Please heal her.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,
look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

how is your sister doing?

She is doing much better mentally. She seems to be mentally stable now and responding better to therapy. Her back pain is still debilitating and she is unable to sit, only stand and lie down but the improvement in her attitude towards the situation has opened up the path to healing for her and she’s been religious about her physical therapy. I cannot thank you all enough for all of your prayers. She has a ways to go but we are so grateful for prayers for her recovery
