Cricket: We ask ourselves many times “Lord why me?” and sometimes when we need help, we are handed another “let-down” Do we ever consider the fact that every time these trials happen to us that we go to the Lord and ask Him for help, and when we do we find ourselves at His feet asking for relief. What if the reason for these trials was to bring us to His feet only to recognize that He was fulfilling our greatest need, Himself, and not His gifts? When we have Jesus, we have everything, and if we don’t have Him, what do we have. It is love for you to draw you closer to Himself, and thats our greatest gift, all else pales compared to that. You are blessed.
What a picture you just painted in MY MIND! WOW. I know you were talking to Cricket but… Thanks for those words.

Prayers for Cricket…

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.

Cricket,
Even if I did not post, you, your sister, and both your needs are all in my prayers.

Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen,
Mother of Mercy,
hail our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To thee do we cry
poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping
in this vale of tears.
Turn then,
O most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy towards us
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb,
Jesus;
O clement,
O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.

Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel
St Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray
and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into Hell Satan
and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.

**The Memorare **
Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known,
that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To thee I come, before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petition,
but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
Amen.

Luz Maria
