My sister needs help.

She does not believe what the church believes;
mostly “Jesus was God” ; she wants to leave and go back to her other religion. With out this belief is she no longer catholic?

I have given her many good books and have taken her to see our priest; but she will not budge.

Whats left?

Alessandra, it comes down to your faithful prayer for her and a continued willingness to try to answer any objections she may raise to you to the best of your ability. Anyone who doesn’t believe that there is one God in three Divine Persons and that the Son became Incarnate as the Man Jesus Christ is not a Catholic - or any sort of Christian. What religion was she before she joined the Church?

What was her other religion?
 
Holy Spirit please send Your Holy Spirt into the mind and heart of Alessandra’s sister to inspire her that Jesus is both God and man. Please help Alessandra to know what to say and do in this.
Please do not let her sister abandon the Catholic faith.

I can imagine how dificult it is for you. Your sister has free will and sometimes that brings so much pain when we love someone and they reject what we value and see as best for them.

Pray and sacrifice for your sister. My brother went through being an athiest, Buddhist, agnostic, but I never lost hope for him. Don’t let your faith waiver. Just smile at her knowing that God will not let anybody fall away who truly seeks Him.

My brother is now a practicing Catholic.
