My son has been injured by a 'used' needle when he was helping clear litter in a public park

My son was doing some work in the community and helping clear litter in a park when one of the litter bin bags pricked him and it was a used drug needle. He was taken to hospital and has had many blood tests and liver function tests,he goes again tomorrow and is on medication for months to prevent him getting HIV or Aids. Please spare a prayer for him that he will not contract HIV or Aids. He has 3 young children.

He has been tested and continues to be tested regularly with blood tests.He is at the hospital being tested again today right now.He has been given medication. It will be 3 months before we know for sure is he has contracted HIV or hepatitis b or c via the used needle. He has to have several liver function tests also.Continued prayers for your son!
When are they able to test him to see if he contracted anything?
