My son wants to receive

Today was a good day.

At Mass, I taught my son the Real Presence and he immediately wanted to receive Our Lord. It blew him away. I taught him that Our Lady is our Mother and Queen and he can pray to her anytime as his second Mom. I taught him that he can pray for his Mom and the Lady Chapel and he did to Our Lady Of Perpetual Help.

On my side of things: My Mom is finally respecting my authority over my kids. She’s really angry about it; but she is respecting my spiritual authority as their father. We’ve had arguments this weekend over religious teachings my family is passing onto my kids. They seem to realize that I won’t back down and I won’t cave to them. That it’s my job as their father to teach them the truth and it’s part of my job description as a Christian to not go with the flow.

Things are currently tense in my family’s household; but they seem to realize that I won’t back down and aren’t fighting me to accept them teaching their errors to my kids.
 
Is your son enrolled in Sacramental Preparation with the CCD/RE office of the parish? Some Dioceses required 2 year prep, so, I would get those classes going ASAP
