My stool is blackish

Hi folks,
I need to see a doctor Monday b/c
my stool is black, it might mean
something is wrong w/ my digestive
system. My biological father died of
colon cancer, and I have ulcerative
colitis.
 
If you had some pepto bismul that will cause the same thing. Praying for you. We

Yes, black stools called Melena does mean old blood in stool, Meaning an ulcer in the stomach or duodenum. If the stool is black it means the blood traveled through a lot of intestine. Now, if your taking vitamins with iron supplement, your stool will be black from the iron. Eating rarish steaks before the blood test on the card will cause a false positive. So, you will join many of us in the endoscopy and colonoscopy clubs. Dark blood problem is high or small Amount of a slow bleeding polyp… That can be benign. I had an Aunt and Uncle who ate pizzas and subs and steak sandwiches. That fatty diet gave them both colon cancer 3 yrs apart. Tough time for them and me. Jesus was with them. Fear not, it is your Fathers good wish to give you the kingdom. God is NOT the Author of fear but of a sound mind. BY HIS STRIPES, you are healed. In Jesus name. Amen:thumbsup:

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (GLam8833). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
