Please pray for me and various trials that I am currently going through in the beginning of my freshman year. This includes chemistry homework, staying faithful to God during these times, as well as the whole “boys” thing. I don’t actually want a boyfriend (Fourteen year olds shouldn’t be dating) but I’m afraid I’ve led someone on…

I’m sorry, this is such a shallow prayer request but it would ease my intense anxiety greatly if I knew someone was out there praying for me.

I’d just like to say to all the other people requesting prayers: I pray for all of them, all that I can. I never actually make a post that says “I’m praying”, or the Hail Mary, but I just want to let you know that I do try to pray for you all. 😊 🙂

It’s not a “shallow prayer request” at all. My 14 year old daughter just started high school, so I understand somewhat (from the point of view of a parent) the difficulty of high school and the importance of your prayer petitions.

May God bless you and assist you in all your trials. May he strengthen your faith and give you peace.

May Jesus our good Lord give you strength in these things. You are showing humble wisdom (not that there’s any other kind ;)) by relying on prayer and seeking other’s prayers as well.

You are right that you are young to be dating, but don’t try to reject a friendship with a boy either. The secret to keeping the relationship holy, is to give testimony (actually talk about) Jesus and your faith in Him, with your friends. Once you have testified to the goodness of Jesus and that you are so thankfull that He is your God, He will give you more grace to continue in His righteousness. So then you will not want to be a hypocrate and act differently than what the Holy Spirit shows you is pleasing to Our Father above.

Thanks for sharing, and I hope you have a better capacity to devote to your school work than I did! Its a blessing to be motivated to earn a diploma, and have a goal!

It’s not in the least bit shallow!..it wasn’t that long since I was 14 and like many others here I understand just how you probably feel right now.

Trust in the Lord: may he in Christ give you strength in all these things.

Praying for your intentions. There are never shallow intentions for prayer. Your worries are just as important as anything else. 🙂

Heavenly Father, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. My soul is like a turbulent sea. I can’t seem to find my balance so I stumble and worry constantly. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you’ve laid out for me. I trust your Love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night. Please bring me clarity with the light of God.

Hope, I just thought I would add that your prayer request is not at all shallow! At your age there’s just a tremendous amount going on in your life.👍 And thank you for your prayers; I only rarely post my prayer activity as well, even though I read all of the requests people write, and try to focus my attention on as many as I can. Stay strong; high school is without a doubt one of the most difficult periods of one’s life!🙂
