My very sick sister has abandoned the Church

Holy Mary, Mother of God,

I pray that your sister’s health will improve and that she will see the truth in God’s love. The only way to avoid Hell, if she feels she is headed that way, is to seek and accept God’s forgiveness. Holy mother Mary, lead this child to your Son.

Thank you, it is consoling to know you understand this situation and thank you for your prayers, I will say the Chaplet for her.
The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy
  1. Begin with the Sign of the Cross, 1 Our Father, 1 Hail Mary and The Apostles Creed.
  2. Then on the Our Father Beads say the following:
    Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
  3. On the 10 Hail Mary Beads say the following:
    For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
    (Repeat step 2 and 3 for all five decades).
  4. Conclude with (three times):
    Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I’m a Scot studying in a small city in Russia at the moment and I’m praying for you and your sister (I mention my situation just so you know there’s people praying for you in unlikely places!).

Amen. The Chaplet is very very good by the way, i also pray the Chaplet of the Holy Wounds sometimes ( but i try to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet everyday.)
i am praying very much, i can imagine how furstrating it must be to have someone completely deny the Faith without even understanding it.
But patience and love is the key, through our love they will know us to be Christians.

I am glad that you have started to pray the chaplet of the Divine Mercy. It is very powerful. Paul says it everyday so do I. I pray your sister gets better !

Thank you all for the reminder, yes it is a powerful devotion. Must get into the habit of praying it every day. Please feel free to remind me from time to time. God bless.

Praying your sister does not suffer much pain and that she finds her way back to our lord very soon
