Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven;
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death
Amen

Glory be to the Father and to the Son
And to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning
Is now, and ever shall be.
Amen

Thank you all for your prayers. I believe (through my brother)that my sister has committed herself to Christianity now. I think she is still a way off from liking anything Catholic, but…we’ll keep praying for her!

HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy
Hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.

Turn then O most gracious Advocate thine eyes of mercy towards us
And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus
O clement, O Loving, O sweet Virgin Mary
Pray for us O holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven;
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses

And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil. Amen.

Lord, I don’t always understand your ways. I don’t know why your child has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward your child. Nourish their spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort them with your presence.

The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.” Num 6:24-26

Continued prayers.

Thanks to all for your kind prayers. My apologies for the delay in posting news, but in excuse, have had a health issue myself that is now resolved and the usual hectic lifestyle. Add to that, a hot and humid summer over here…
I have visited my sister regularly since she moved to the new nursing home/hospital and although she was miserable the first few weeks until mid-January, I notice every week that she is more and more settled, and is making friends among the other patients in her ward.
Yes, the conditions are very cramped, still 20 beds on her half of the ward, but the plus is that there are lots of staff (11-15 per shift), who despite the difficult work conditions, still have a smile to offer and seem to be good at heart.
More good news is that my sister does not seem so anti-Catholic any longer. In fact, when I had a procedure done in hospital on 2 Feb under anaesthetic, she was calling me and telling me she was praying to St Therese and Padre Pio for me, asking for favors!
On Sunday I took her an old St Terese calender that has lots of lovely pics and quotes. She is so happy to have it; thanked me again today for it.

The Virgin Mary, who believed in the word of the Lord, did not lose her
faith in God when she saw her Son rejected, abused and crucified. Rather she
remained beside Jesus, suffering and praying, until the end. And she saw the
radiant dawn of His Resurrection. Let us learn from her to witness to our
faith with a life of humble service, ready to personally pay the price of
staying faithful to the Gospel of love and truth, certain that nothing that
we do will be lost.

Praying for your sister today at mass
Thank you very much StAnthony and all here, much appreciated!
Be mindful of us, O blessed Joseph, and intercede for us with thy foster-Son by the pleading of thy prayer: do thou, in like manner, render the blessed Virgin Mary thy Spouse, gracious onto us, for she is the Mother of Him, who with the Father and the Holy Ghost liveth and reigneth world without end.
Amen.
