Sounds like my SIL, she had been a CCD for at least 5 yrs and then decided to search for a religion that’d fit her, and then because her mother was a JW, she decided to look at the JWs, and guess what? She’s my JW SIL that hates my guts because I am Catholic and I teach the catechism…

let me relate what happened to my mom. jw’s hounded my mom one day. they showed up on her property even though there are clearly visible no trespassing signs. she told them to get off her property. they did after trying to convert her. mom was livid. she phoned me in distress and told me about it.
i was mad that they’d hound a little old lady like they did. so, i called the headquarters in canada, and also called the hall where my mother lives, and politely tore a strip off them. i said, they weren’t paying attention to the no trespassing sings even though they ARE visible as you can’t miss them! i got some lip from them, and i told them, if they go out on my moms land again, i will call the police.
again, i got some sort of lip from them. my mother has a long standing dislike of them. and they had the nerve to go out to her rural property in a car load and terrify her. she has 2 big dogs, and good thing too. they ignored the dogs despite their frantic barking and banged on moms door until she came out. mom doesn’t have a phone. so she called me from my brothers place and asked me to put a stop to it. they honestly terrified a little old wonderful lady!
then they had the nerve to make excuses to me on the phone!i know my mom, and she was freaked right out believe me. 4 strangers show up at her door ignoring the no trespassing signs ( private property too ) bang on it until she comes out, argue with her even though she told them to get off her property, and then leave after they upset her really badly.
my mom does not spin stories. even her neighbor heard what happened, so he watches her property like a hawk.now believe me. how dare they go out there unwelcome and terrify her like that!!!
when a witness is told not to come back and they do, it is harassment. sometimes they do not know when to quit.
How dare they??? You know, in Mexico, Catholics have a sign on their doors or windows with a picture of the VIrgin Mary, and says “We’re Roman Catholic. No Soliciting” and they still knocked on our doors when I lived there.how dare they? they dared.
Even here in California, my uncle has a “no soliciting” sign on his door and they knock every week, even though he has told them many times not to bother him. They don’t care that you don’t want to talk to them, they think they’re doing you a favor by being there. PLEASE!

. had my dad been there they would never have banged on the door like they did because he would’ve shouted at them and they woulda high tailed it outta there.this is because JWs do not believe the signs apply to them—they do not believe they are tresspassing or soliciting and in most cases have won the right to preach from dooor-to-door in the courts–even on private property. You will have to request from the local congregation to make a note on the territory card that this home is a ‘do-not-call’ and will be indefinitely. Or you can post a sign that specifically says ‘JWs KEEP OUT’.how dare they? they dared.
Personally, I don’t think that would keep them out (the sign) If the signs in Mexico don’t work, I don’t think they’d work inthe US. But talking to the elders at the KH should do the trick. UNLESS you’re a DF’d or disassociated JW, then just tell them and they’ll leave you alone.
it was not right for them to go on clearly marked private property. after speaking to the head quarters and the hall near my mother, they wont go back. i told them, go back and its harassment and trespassing. i will call the cops. they know this. mom told them not to come back. they can be arrested if they go back.
