One has to be very careful with these types of ‘tests’ You need to know if they test traits, or states.

If it tests for traits, then it is OK for studies that require consistancy of behavior (such as this one)
If it tests for states, then you can only use it for immediate purposes as states change. You may be come very emotional about something, and this will skew your results. However, if you take the same test, several days later, relaxed, calm and collect, and you will get a different answer all together.

My understanding is the the M.B. test only tests states, and not traits…

In Other wrds, it may be fun, but don’t read too much into the results

OK - I’m a borderline ISTJ, INTJ (I oscillate back and forth depending on when I take the tests). Cradle Catholic.

As I recall, both ISTJ and INTJ are very common in the general population.

I’ve done this test (and others like it) and always get INF but the last letter varies between P and J.
Today :INFJ (J was 1%)

I’m Catholic.

I had to choose the last option because I’m an Atheist. I’m a NT…I just had to put my two cents in because I peeked at the results and noticed a lot of you guys are also NTs and I thought it might be interesting for my data point to be added in. Personally I’m suprised so many of you guys have high T scores…thats typically a trait among Atheists. Yes, we’ve discussed this very topic on one of the Atheist boards I’m a part of…prolly 80% of us were either INTJ or ENTJ.

ESTJ and Catholic 🙂

I don’t see any other people here that are like me, maybe I’m a weirdo! :o

I remember taking this test as part of a poll of Theravada Buddhists. Ove 75% of the Theravadans who took the test were INTJ.

I have no idea of the significance of this. 🤷 😃
