NAB Psalms, Nihil "Nihil Obstat"

For the first time ever (amazingly) I decided to check out the Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat verifications for the NAB. To my surprise, I noticed that the Revised Psalms do not contain a Nihil Obstat - but they do have an Imprimatur by Most Rev. Daniel E Pilarczyk, President of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.

It seems awfully strange that a text should be granted an Imprimatur without first being granted a Nihil Obstat. I am just wondering why the Revised Psalms were treated in this way? And should the lack of full verification (Nihil Obstat) hinder our acceptance/usage of the Revised Psalms?

There can be no imprimatur without a nihil obstat. so the imprimatur supposes a nihil obstat. See fisheaters.com/imprimatur.html
