I think Vivien Leigh was actually better in Streetcar.

The scene where Mitch comes to see her after he had stood her up was great acting. When he asked her about the hotel “The Flamingo” her voice and demeanor change from pathetic to almost an attack to defend. Her actual voice changes.

“The Quiet Man” with John Wayne and Maurine O’Hara

Yes! He was so “not John Wayne-ish.” It was nice to see him in a slightly different kind of role. And Maureen O’Hara was perfect. Beautiful, strong and at the same time vulnerable.
I thought I was going to be the only one to choose these two.

Stunning scenery, vibrant colour, true story and great acting
The actress’ real mother played her mother in these movies. The best of the trilogy was probably the first one .

Jack Cardiff was probably the greatest cinematographer in the world. This has to be one of the most beautifully shot films I have ever seen, and what fine acting.
