Name Saints who did not commit mortal sin

I read here in the forum that St. Theresa of Avila and St. Alphonsus Liguori were said to have never committed mortal sin in their earthly life.

I also read in the life of St. John Vianney that he did not what mortal sin is until he gave confessions to sinners as a consecrated priest.

Have you read also the lives of other saints who never committed mortal sin in their earthly life?

I think therese of Lisieux and bernadette soubirous didnt commit any
 
Other than the Blessed Mother, surely only God knows, and such speculation is idle. To my way of thinking, saints who were great sinners and who overcame that through God’s grace are far more inspiring, relatable, and worthy of emulation than someone who seems to have lived in a “bubble of perfection.”

Saints who never committed mortal sin had to cooperate and suffer much with the grace of God.

I, too, admire those who fell badly and repented much.

The wonder of God’s grace!
 
St Dominic salvio, he had a agreement with God: ‘death before sin’.

i think something similar is said of st aloysius gonzaga…though i’m not too sure.

I think you might be confusing St Terese of Avila with St Theresa of Lisieux.

St Terese of Avila, had a fairly wild life before her conversion, so unlikely she was without sin.

St Theresa of Lisieux, probably was without sin after Baptism.

St Bernadette, it’s said that she never lost her Baptismal Innocence.

Of course the Blessed Mother, but also St John the Baptist.

What about Old Testament persons?

I’m thinking Elijah and Job. Possibly Abraham or Moses.

From the NT: Joseph, Zechariah and Elizabeth, St John the Baptist. St John the Evangelist. Mary of course.
 
Mary, but to be fair she was conceived without sin. Any other one would just be speculation and I would know anyway for certain.
 
In Story of a Soul, St Therese of Liseaux’s Confessor told her that she had never committed mortal sin, which isn’t an infallible statement but it seems trustworthy. Though, by St Therese’s own ardent view in her writing, she believed she could have been a great sinner “like Mary Magdalene” if God had not intervened differently, because of her great attraction to worldly parties & fanfare. She viewed it as God preventing great sin from ever having occurred, in order to ignite great charity in her because of her gratitude.
