@lilypadrees I used to eat biscuits and gravy, when I ate meat, but no longer. Still, that sounds good, Lily! Hope you’ll be having it by mid-spring! Let us know what the doctor says.

@Milt, wish I had some pancakes! 🤣 I’ll have my usual - oatmeal, toast, juice, tea.

A big bowl of vegetable and rice soup. The base was tomato/vegetable with some spicy salsa in it.
Now for tea to follow.

Mama wants sausage and gravy. But it’s not on her diet (sodium level is higher than she’s supposed to have per meal). I told her maybe we can get some for Easter Sunday but that she has to be extra good the rest of the week and drink more water to neutralize the extra sodium.

I had fried chicken for breakfast. That will be my solid meal for the day. Everything else will be liquids. Once I have my surgery, it’ll be total liquids for 3 weeks. After that, I don’t know whether solids will be phased in or he’ll just let me go back to regular foods.

Looking forward to Friday and seeing what happens.

Pork jerky
Have you ever tried venison jerky? It is very good, so is buffalo jerky.

I had a short stack of buttermilk pancakes from Bob Evan’s restaurant, and two sausage patties.
No, I’ve never tried that. I have tried turkey jerky, though. I didn’t like it.
 
A small bottle of Coca-Cola and 2 sausage biscuits from Bojangles. (That darn craving wouldn’t go away!)
 
Bottle of chocolate diet drink. Made me feel kind of sick.
i had a diet rootbeer a day or so ago and couldn’t get the aftertaste out of my mouth. i need a good sugarless drink besides water, tea or coffee. one without artificial sweetners.

Me, too. I really dislike those artificial sweeteners. Fruit juice has too much natural sugar. I love fruit and fruit, but we van’t drink much of it. I tried Bai water, hated it.

Coca-Cola. I’ll have a sausage biscuit for breakfast. Bojangles makes them large and melt in your mouth deeee-licious.😋😋😋😋:hugs:
