Barb outdid herself…a nice salad, homemade lasagna, and homemade garlic bread…washed down with a good IPA…cranberry-orange sour cream coffeecake for dessert…
 
My standard Saturday brunch.

Hash browns, sunny side up eggs with a lot of Tobasco sauce, bacon 🥓 extra crispy, 2 slices whole wheat toast with cherry 🍒 jelly. Diet pepsi
 
For breakfast I made bacon and cheese bagel sandwiches. I had cold bottled water to drink.
 
Corn on the cob, fish sticks, lemonade. ( I haven’t eaten today yet, so that’s the last thing I ate )
 
Mama had chicken and potato salad. I had banana pudding, Bolthouse Farms C-Boost and my Coke. Needed the energy after seeing the condition of the burned out oven and having to put it outside.
 
A nice salad, applewood-smoked London broil, and potato salad, washed down with a cold IPA…deep-dish rhubarb pie for dessert…

The Husband says one drinks Kwak with the glass in the holder. I imagine this is to prevent the heat of one’s hand from affecting the temperature of the beer, since the glass itself has no handle.

Some toasted crumpets with strawberry-blackberry jam.
