For our dinner tonight we had some Chinese food take-out from a favorite restaurant of ours.

I had a taste for some really good chicken and rice soup that they make.

It has very few ingredients in it, and it’s delicious. A quart of it is very inexpensive, too.

It’s made with a very lovely clear chicken broth, and pieces of plain cooked chicken, green onions, and white sticky rice. They give you some crispy Won Ton pieces to put in it, too.

We also had Sub Gum Chicken Chop Suey, and Beef with Snow Pea Pods. Lots of nice and crisp fresh veggies in each order, and also served with sticky white rice.

We also had some pork egg rolls, too.

Leftover shrimp curry from the takeout the night before over rice, sliced bananas with bananas foster gelato, water

Coca-Cola and popcorn. Going to have to get back to the veggies now that my throat surgery is scheduled.

A banana cream pie and some lemonade. I ate others things, but I kind of forgot.

At the Dairy Queen, five buck three piece chicken strip lunch which comes with fries, dip of choice (I chose ranch), Orange Sprite Zero, vanilla ice cream with hot fudge sauce

A cup of coffee this morning, and I will have a fresh laid free range egg…I’m being bombed with eggs now!
Eggs seem back in fashion yet again, having the all clear for health…I wonder how many a week is ok?

Stopped at Subway on the way home from church…chicken-bacon-ranch sub on herbs-and-cheese bread, with mushrooms, onion, spinach, and chipotle sauce instead of ranch dressing…added homegrown tomatoes…a good IPA to drink.

Doctors say research now shows one a day is good for health.

I love them, especially scrambled with whole grain toast.

I had oatmeal with lots of organic blueberries.

At the Panera after mass, had steel cut oats with blueberries, granola and brown sugar. Diet Pepsi to wash it down
