Ordered scallops, shrimp, squid, with bean noodles and vegetables at ‘extreme’ spiciness.

It would have been doable except there was no starch/milk to occasionally douse my mouth with a fire extinguisher. After the 2nd bowl I ran out of stamina from the nonstop inferno.

Water/tea doesn’t do much since it doesn’t soak/absorb. I needed a ball of rice or some chewy bread.

When I eat very hot Ethiopian food I also have errgo (?) a thin yogurt that is very good for quelling the bite of chilli.

Jr Deluxe Cheeseburger, fries and Coke (lunch) and grilled cheese sandwiches and sweet tea (supper).

For our dinner tonight we had some rotisserie chicken from Sam’s Club, and some Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

I heated up some yellow wax beans and some dinner rolls to have with the potatoes and the chicken.

I’m drinking some cold bottled water.

Fresh sweet corn chowder with russet potatoes, onions, and plenty of hot, spicy peppers. Water to drink.

I had some mixed vegetables with butter, and some giant prawns 🙂 now for a cup of tea.

(Oh auto correct,it’s not Lent yet…)

An Oreo Iced Capp from Tim Horton’s. It was yummy. 🙂
I’m a hazelnut or caramel girl myself. 😁
Cool. The caramel one was tempting. I’ll probably get it next time.

You can find them everywhere over here, GF, but some of the frozen ones aren’t too good. The homemade are better. (Isn’t homemade almost always better?) We have chicken, turkey, and beef. I’m not fond of poultry or red meat, but I love good vegetable pot pie.
