I Love goats milk cheese 🙂
Barley tea sounds good for you,and refreshing.I wonder if you have anything with it,or simply on its own?

Is barley tea anything like barley water, which was a cold drink enjoyed in the Victorian and Edwardian eras?

I like the type of Feta Cheese that is made from a sheep and goat’s milk mixture.

Sourdough bread and butter, Pringles potato chips, three fudge Zingers and fruit punch Gatorade.

I wonder too 🙂
My mother used to always keep the lolly barley sugar
in her hand bag for when she felt a bit hypoglycaemic
and for wriggly children .An older friend said she makes barley sugar using real barley…id like to have a go.
Just having lunch, lamb chops from my sisters farm, and mixed vegetables .

Hard boiled egg + water.

It’s said to be good for you, mostly by people who like to drink it 😄 I don’t know of any credible evidence for this claim, however. I will say, though, that on really hot days it seems to quench my thirst better than plain water.

I just drink it straight. No sugar, milk, lemon, etc.

Barley tea is made by roasting barley then placing it in cold water for a few hours. You can also brew and drink it hot, but I don’t know anyone who does.

I believe barley water is made by boiling unroasted barley in water, straining out the barley, then cooling the water. Same basic ingredients but different preparation methods, flavors and consistencies.

Please post the recipe for the smoothie in the other thread, CL.
I would, but I don;y know that recipe, Lily. That one is a smoothie I bought frozen. I’ll see if I can find the ingredients.

That is what I just drank, a green immunity smoothie.
