Greenfields, yes, so far, I’m good to go. Tomorrow is the last day they can call and cancel or reschedule it. They weren’t able to draw blood Friday because I was so dehydrated from being sick the day before. But they’ll get it before the surgery. 😱

I can only take my stomach meds. The rest I’m on would interfere with the ana…anae…sleepy time surgery meds. I have to stop eating, drinking, etc by 11pm instead of midnight.

I was advised to ask my surgeon is any of my meds come in liquid form since I need to have my meds even if my throat is swollen. Taking a notepad and pen in case I’m unable to talk after the surgery. Mama says she hopes I can talk. I told her she’d enjoy the silence if I can’t.

Wow,that’s a big load for you ,but you seem a patient girl and that will be important going along quietly before the day .And afterwards :pray:t2:

Mama says I should have eggs today and tomorrow. (Forget the fact that I’m allergic to them.) Everything I eat until my surgery should be bland. I’ll be drinking water tomorrow. Today, I’m having a last smoothie.

Blueberry muffins stuffed full of blueberries with a bit of muffin material holding them together, slathered with butter, diet caffeine free Pepsi

Two triple cheeseburgers [from Wendy’s] and a grape Crush. That was way too much meat for one day. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a scorcher of a day 😓😰😥

Leftover burgers, fries and root beer. Surgery rescheduled for Sept 6. Robot isn’t available tomorrow. 😡

Couscous, pita, hummus & salad.

Lemonade spiced with cinnamon and orange rinds. Fantastic!

Thanks, Greenfields. It’s a blessing in disguise. One of our longtime friends has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is moving to a memory care facility. Her kitties are coming to us tomorrow. We would’ve taken them in anyway. But I wouldn’t have been able to lift more than 5 lbs and would’ve needed help with them for the first month or so.

With my surgery having been postponed, I’ll be able to get them settled in and somewhat adjusted to their new home before having to go to the hospital. The only kitties they don’t know are the Newbies.

Have had peanut butter crackers, bananas, root beer and Mtn Dew. Too hot and humid to cook.

Mtn Dew. Need quick energy.

Turning sprinkler on in front yard and cleaning in living room where our new furry friends will be until I have their room ready. They’ll need time to adjust to their new surroundings. Our friend is in the middle stages of Alzheimer’s and won’t be able to take care of them anymore. I’m getting more kitty food and litter (the ones they are familiar with) and will slowly transition them to the things we get for everyone else.
