Never seen Star Wars either, Indiana Jones was great when I was a kid but now it mostly just makes me laugh, and the Lord of the Rings movies are my favourite films of all time. (Ditto with the books). Seriously every person here who hasn’t read or watched Lord of the Rings, you don’t know what you’re missing out on haha.

Oh, I’ve tried. As beautifully written as the book is, as beautifully made as the films appear to be, the genre is not for me. :woman_shrugging:t2:

The Robocop series, the Terminator series and the Matrix series.

Avatar
Avengers
Star Wars (the last two movies, I never liked Ray as a character. Too Mary Sue)

To Kill A Mockingbird
Friday the 13th (all of them)
The first three Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I’ve seen #4 and #5. Generally not a big fan of slasher films.

Until last week, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure would have been an answer I could give. I was in the hospital & was able to stream it on my phone on the Xfinity Stream app, a benefit of my Comcast cable subscription.

I also recently watched The Blues Brothers for the first time. Again, through my Comcast subscription, though I watched it at home on my TV.

Star Wars (all), Forrest Gump and and Avatar. There are plenty of others but they are the first ones that came to mind.
I haven’t seen Forrest Gump. I saw Avatar twice in theaters, the second time really only because my coworker Larry wanted to see it and his wife wouldn’t go with him. As a disabled person the ableist plot point of the guy in the wheelchair obsessed with a ‘cure’ bothers me. And
at the end his disabled body is euthanized and his consciousness transferred to one of the natives’ bodies.
REALLY rubs me the wrong way.

I’m glad you said this. I certainly noticed that there was a refusal to accept his disability and I don’t currently know any wheelchair bound people to ask. I found it kind of offensive but it isn’t my place to say. I’m happy to hear it was noticed and your feelings on it, so thanks!

And I recommend that if you ever get a chance to watch To Kill a Mockingbird that you do so. One of Gregory Pecks finest acting jobs and a really good classic movie.

Dead pool
Suicide squad
Black panther

I put on dead pool but my daughter was up and had to change it.

Schindler’s List
I’ve never watched this either. My daughter did and pointed out that it was the hardest movie she ever watched. She didn’t regret watching it but said she wouldn’t ever watch it again. I asked if I should and she said, honestly mom, no. Advice taken! As I had an uncle by marriage with numbers tattooed on his arm, I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle it.

There’s much harder movies out there. Schindler’s List is kind of tame compared to them.

Any of the action hero movies with the exception of the Dark Knight and the Dark Knight Rises
Million Dollar Baby
Cinema Paradiso
