More to the point, we are currently having a campaign where the challenger Biden has barely come out of his house for months. I would like to see him do a little more than make a convention speech and appear in taped ads for fundraisers in which he speaks for 15 seconds and still manages to fumble a word.

We know what Trump is going to do at the debates, the same blustering act he’s been doing for over 4 years, so this is all about seeing how sharp Joe is, and Nancy knows it.
 
This from an adult woman and Speaker of the House who threw a temper tantrum after the State of the Union and tore up the speech the President of the United States had just given. What a class act. She has no room to talk.
 
What about the dignity of the position of Speaker of the House?!! If there is one person we need to hear less from and see less of it is Nancy Pelosi. . . .

I think Nancy also is showing quite marked cognitive decline.

I guess irrational and prolonged hatred can do that to people.

I think we may already have a governmental atmosphere in which people feel that the dignity of various positions has evaporated. Our government is composed of much division, mudslinging, fighting, and at time a refusal to cooperate or negotiate.

We are living in a country where many people have barely come out of their houses for months. The point of campaigning is to speak to people, but this is impossible except through media. Coming out of his house is not as effective as it once was.

Besides, it is fairly normal for a challenger to take a break between the time when he becomes the assumed candidate and his convention. Then the campaign traditionally starts on Labor Day.

Trump of course has ignored all these things and much more. Some of that has led to a disregard for medical advice with its consequences. Other things he has ignored have led to a sense of lawlessness in the country that has also had dire consequences.

Great, let’s get to it and have a debate then. I might even watch, I find Presidential debates to be often entertaining.

Nancy Pelosi has an important role. We should care what she has to say. Unfortunately, when she opens her mouth, she degrades the position she holds. She
Is dangerous and needs to be replaced.
 
I think if you read history you’ll find this is nothing new.
