Nancy Pelosi: "Thank God" Senate Bill Funds Abortions

Washington, DC – In yet another comment that will draw guffaws from pro-life advocates, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is thankful to God that the Senate bill include massive abortion funding. Pelosi also claims she has enough votes to pass a pro-abortion health care bill in the House, though that is disputed.

The Senate bill "doesn’t have a public option, doesn’t expand Medicare for the (age) 55 to 64 group, and has abortion language that is completely different from the House – thank God."I presume we will see pro-choice prayer services giving thanks to the Almighty for the inclusion of abortion funding in the healthcare bill.
 
Grotesque is the word. It is hard to imagine the wickedness and hubris that lies behind those words.

If any of you on this forum vote Democrat you really should examine your consciences and frankly be utterly ashamed of your facilitating evil. Voting Democrat in the USA is an objective sin.
 
And no doubt these people will stick up for their actions, citing that “war” and “healthcare” are more important and cost as many lives, even though this is not true and hard to prove.

Also, they’ll cite that they are not “for abortion” but will help reduce abortion. Last time I checked, the best way to reduce abortion is KEEPING IT IN YOUR PANTS. 😉

And no doubt we’ll get the “business bad socialism good” speech

I know we are discouraged from openly political debate but I’m going to stand up for the truth here.

Voting Pelosi/Obama etc is sonful. Objectively adn shamefuly sinful. It is facilitating the power of one who has the gall to Thank God for death. Let’s have no quibbling, no recourse to sophistry. The Democrats are an evil Godless political party rendered even worse by the routine use of references to God in their political rallies. Vipers.
 
This passage from John’s Gospel where Jesus is speaking to the scribes & Pharisees who want to kill Him, applies to the Pelosi statement & all those who support the murder of innocent babies by abortion (just substitute she & her where appropriate!);

"You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (Jn 8:44)

Pelosi’s crazy alright. Apparently the #1 provider of partial birth abortions(whose clinic is right down the road from my old parish) was there for the unveiling of the house’s health care bill. I hope the Blessed Mary protects us from disaster

I agree. Apparently the “god” she is thanking is not the Christian God, but rather the one who is so pompous that he considers himself equal to the Lord, God.
 
Speaker Pelosi is the face of the Catholic Church in promiment U.S. Politics, (in fact third in line to the Presidency) to many a non-Catholic and Catholic citizen.
I hope the Church realizes this?

The fact that Speaker Pelosi is next in line after the VP to succeed to the presidency is scary enough, notwithstanding that she is a pro-abortion Catholic; but having Obama as president means that we’re already on the road to socialism and bankruptcy.
 
She visited the Pope recently…
did not this issue get discussed??
and since then she has accelerated the agenda…

Another fine example of a high ranking Catholic politician for all the world to see… flaunting ashes on his forehead and showing the world that the Catholic Church is not “really” that serious about fighting this culture of death.

I think most Catholics realize what she really is…but you’re right. Satan mascarading as a self-proclaimed devout Catholic. I hope and pray that more of the faithful do not fall for this deception. :gopray:
 
My Dad is still taken with Obama, unfortunetly my family has a bad habbit of being polarized. My Dad used to be a super Republican, he voted for GW Bush the first time around. He didn’t believe me about GW’s short comings (I predicted very early on the Iraq war) until GW had the gull to attack Iraq.

Based upon this, my Dad ended up ultimatly giving up completely on the Republicans and turned to the Democrats. Last election cycle, i’m sad to say I my self was lulled into beleiving Obama’s bill of goods regarding being a “true moderate” etc, so ultimatly did my dad despite wanting Hillary at first (ugh).

Thank God, I’ve seen the light regarding Obama. I’ll be working double hard pointing out his inconsitancies next time, as I was last time evangalizing a candidate I thought would be reasnoble enough to understand the American people don’t want abortion advanced, and more over would end highly polarized politics, as well as executive abuses started by GW (and now carried forward in spades by Obama).

My Dad still doesn’t, in fact he refused to believe the Senate bill contains abortion funding (he is staunchly pro-life like me), because he doesn’t want to be burned again. I hope this will help him to see, as a Catholic of good contience… It pays to not marry your self to any political party. They both have glaring defincenties.
