November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).
The goal is to write 50,000 words in the 30 days of November – an average of 1667 words per day.
Last year was my first time participating and I ended the month with 55,000 words but still had an unfinished story.
This year I am planning like crazy (heading to a five-hour write-in in a few minutes) and hoping to write and finish the story I attempted last year. I never even reread what I wrote last year.
If anyone else is participating, or if anyone here is interested in the idea, let’s support each other’s efforts.
Here’s the official website: National Novel Writing Month
There are forums on their site, even a Catholic group in the groups area.
May God bless all of us who are seeking to honor Him with our gifts!
