NASCAR bans Confederate flags from all racetracks

I came across some other news of people not liking the ban.

Around the world there have been a lot of divisive icons removed from display. This includes a few statues that have been rapidly taken down whether by the government or but its citizens.
 
This is a good and hopefully uncontroversial move by NASCAR.
 
for one of the few time recently, I was truly surprised. I haven’t followed NASCAR since I was 12 but I may have to start again.

Whether you agree with the decision or not, this was a momentous step.
