Anyone been there? Its in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
I live very close to the shrine so I’m pretty much always there… as we regulars say, “I’ve been coming here since I was a fetus!”

Daily Mass at three seperate times a day (with confession daily) is such a blessing, especially when you cant make it to your own parish.

If you havent been, and you’re within a few hours, you should seriously think about taking a day pilgrimage… it is a beautiful shrine to Our Lady that hasnt gotten the publicity it deserves.

I’m in Lower Bucks County, so it’s about 50 minutes, but that’s where I go whenever I’m home. I love it there! Each Mass is so beautiful, and it’s in such a peaceful location. Definitely worth the drive!!!

Been up there once for Divine Mercy Sunday. That is a definite must go once if you live in the area. The year I went, the current Bishop of Scrantin (Martino) was the celebrant.

Just about lived up there…I have fond memories of being at Mass BEFORE the present Shrine was built (quite a long time ago) . When I got married and had my son, we spent just about every Sunday afternoon at the Shrine. And the Labor Day weekend fair was great. Went back home to Philadelphia 2 years ago and the Shrine was a must to visit. What a beautiful way for Poles in America to celebrate the traditions of our ancestors and a beautiful way also for other nationalities to get to know “us” better. Blessings…say a pray for those of us who can’t visit as often anymore.

Gosh thank you for posting this. My hubby and I have to go to PA for the Physical exam portion of our medical licensure that is in Conshochen, PA. We will have to find accomodations somewhere neer the testing site, but I would love to go vising the Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa. I am Polish so I have a huge devotion to Our Lady fo Czestochowa.

Thank you and God bless

As a Polish girl brought up in Chester County I was there every year for the Polish festival. I miss the area now that I am in the midwest. Dad always wanted to enter my sisters and I in the beauty contest but none of us ever did. Ahh the food was awesome and the shrine is magnificent! Thanks for the link…
Homesick now!!!

You must have known Fr. Marian then… we all miss him so much now that he’s gone. 😦

Wow, I’m glad I did!! If you can, get there on a Sunday so you can see everything. The cafeteria and the museum will be open. 🙂
