For the information of those involved in this thread, the quote function may be utilized quite easily and in a number of ways. First, there is the forums.catholic-questions.org/images/buttons_cab/quote.gif button at the bottom right of each post. By clicking this, the entire post can be quoted. If you desire to quote merely a part of the pertinent post, simply (1) delete the irrelevant text or (2) type the following at the end of your truncation:

before the text you would like to quote and then end the relevant quotation in the manner described in (2), supra.
Quoting in this manner provides a much more readable post and facilitates moderation as I can clearly see what is new and what is old, and as you might imagine moderating is a very time consuming task.
