It doesn’t bother me that much, it’s just part of the rhythm of the calendar. As someone who chants the LOTH daily, a respite from the difficulties of rarely-used antiphons is a feast in itself! Plus one deficiency of the modern LOTH is that the festive psalter can kick forward a favourite psalm or two by 4 more weeks, meaning missing them for 8 weeks.
