Hi everyone! I am in need of a 1963 Liber Usualis, but I haven’t had any luck finding the right year. Does anyone know where I might find one, or if there were any significant changes? I’ve found some from previous years, but idk if there were major changes done. (For changes, I mean content. I don’t mind if the styles of the page layout are different)
Thanks!

Why do you need specifically 1963? That seems kind of odd.

If you’re looking for the right one to use for “Extraordinary Form” liturgies, then this is it:
fraternitypublications.com/liberusualis.html

My mistake, I meant 1962:rolleyes: I’m entering a Carmelite monastery, and they use the 1962 edition, but I’m having a hard time finding one…
I don’t think there is a 1962 edition. The 1963 edition is the edition complementary to the 1962 Missal.

If the 1961 edition is what they are selling on the Fraternity website and the SSPX website, then you can rest assured it is fine for use with the 1962 Missal.

On the Fraternity website where you can purchase the Liber Usualis (1961) you read this:
Our offered edition is a reprint of the Desclee’s (printer to the Solesmes monastery) 1961 printing, making this Liber the official version for the traditional editions (1962) of the Roman Breviary, Missal and reformed Holy Week ceremonies.
They’re the “keepers of the flame” WRT the EF liturgy. They know what’s right and what’s not.

Thanks- that’s what I was looking for:D
