Having a hard time choosing. What’s a good book of the Bible to study? I can’t choose!

Genesis, Corinthians or Mathew Mark Luke or John. ( I love 1 and 2 corinthians)

Isaiah is very good for the advent season. Several readings during Mass are from Isaiah.

Romans is one of the key books of the New Testament with regard to explaining the doctrine of justification. However, if you need something that is more concise, Ephesians also makes for an excellent study.

Ecclesiastes is a good philosophical book which really knows how to turn the phrase

Or if you want to study the beginnings of the church, try Acts of the Apostles…

Tobit is indeed a hoot. I like the Psalms and Job among the O.T. books. Also Genesis.

Here’s a good Bible study on Acts and Saint Paul from the Institute of Catholic Culture:

Part 1:

Part 2:

Part 3:

Romans is my favorite book. But I’m biased St. Paul is my confirmation saint.
