My group has been assigned to do a report on Absolutism for our Christian Morality and Spirituality class and I’m (involuntarily) the leader. Any good way where I oughta start?

Teh interwebs kno everthing! 🙂 At least, as a primer or pointer to scholarly works.

Don’t be afraid to start off with the Wikipedia article on European absolutism. Needless to say, use this as a primer to other more verifiable sources.

Using Google search on “absolutism and Christianity” I came up with many academic works (many essays) that should help you. Since you didn’t note what specific things to look for on the subject, I’ll leave it to you to parse out what’s most appropriate.
