In many books I’ve seen illustrations depicting the priest at the high altar, elevating the Body of Christ, with the angels and saints rejoicing in Heaven above and God enthroned on high.

Something like this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Carreno-de-miranda_Orden_de_los_Trinitarios.jpg

Although I think I prefer portrayals from the vantage point of the congregation- looking at the priest’s back.

In anycase, I’d like to have a print/painting/poster of such a scene to put on the wall above the family altar in our family room, and I am not having any success finding one.

So fellow lovers of the Latin Mass, can you help me out?

Thanks.

It seems to me I’ve seen something like that in one of the pictures that some of the posts in CAF have in them. Might look around at some of these.

Those are exactly the type of thing I’m looking for. Beautiful.

What I’m trying to find is something like one of those images that is nice quality to hang on the wall. Although, I guess I could save one and have a nice size printout made at staples or someplace.

I don’t know if they sell the image file, or sell it as a poster.

They might provide that service, but I haven’t researched it.

Either way, there are a few options there.

If they are selling high resolution images, it shouldn’t be an issue to take that image to a print shop and have them put it on a poster, or even a canvas.

Hope this helps.
