Isn’t it wonderful we men have the power to make women obsess, over-think, muse, mull, rehash in their minds and amongst their friends every touch, nuance, conversation, and interaction they have with us.
Men are not like that. They put out feelers like a small sea creature and pull back into the shell when there is the slightest negative vibration in the air. We then stay there. We do not talk about it on the web, amongst our friends or over analyse for weeks after. We turn on the TV and watch sport.
Relax, be yourself and do not be clingy, prickly, or bossy. Saying “Let’s go.” implies ownership and is OK when the relationship is established and the ground rules are set. Men do not want to be led by their women where I live. I know the momism of America is different, however being slightly demure and a little vulnerable goes a long way with some men. Remember Pretty Woman? She was a street prostitute. But the whole fairy tale was about knights and vulnerability on both side. We were sucked into the fantasy on those themes alone, ignoring the reality of the situation.
Do not over think emotions. Do not project emotions on a stranger. Do not build castles in the sky. Not what could have been , but what is and can be in the future. He has your number. Delete his until he calls again. Reapply the lippy and get back on the horse. (Pretend you cannot ride. It sometimes works with a good man. LOL}
No, just be yourself. Being real is an absolute to any long term relationship.
