Need a quick answer on confession

My wife is going to be gone today and I really really need to go to confession. I have my 2 year old and can’t find a sitter. Is it OK to take the little guy into the confessional? I do confession FACE TO FACE so the little guy will be there with me

We mothers do it all the time. He’s young enough unless you think you well get extremely emotional .

I have some stuff to sort out but I am a monthly confessor. I have never gotten emotional in the confessional. My priest is a macho type of guy… I think he would punch me if I started sobbing or somthing. I am impressed with people who can get emotional over such things. Jesus did it in the Garden. I sometimes feel like a cold sould for being so stoic.I am basically just a happy dude after confession but for the life of me I have never been moved to tears after confession. I have felt high as a kite though!. I have heard that some people get Joy tears during mass.
