Need advice/Wondering if this is a different sin

When I was attending a Catholic school in middle school, I was told a sin committed, and that was recorded, couldn’t be forgiven as long as that recording existed… or something like that? So, I remember vaguely something about my teacher saying things posted on the internet are permanent, and that’s why we should be careful about what we post.
It’s been a while since I’ve been an active and practicing Catholic, and I was wanting to try getting back into my faith when I was comfortable to. I just would like to know if anyone else has heard anything about sins being recorded, and how to be forgiven for them, or if they’re confessed regularly, or if I need to ask people to take down everything I’ve posted that they’ve reposted in other places.

There can be forgiveness of the guilt of sin for something recorded. Perhaps the reference is to reparation. For example see the Catechism:

2487 Every offense committed against justice and truth entails the duty of reparation , even if its author has been forgiven. When it is impossible publicly to make reparation for a wrong, it must be made secretly. If someone who has suffered harm cannot be directly compensated, he must be given moral satisfaction in the name of charity. This duty of reparation also concerns offenses against another’s reputation. This reparation, moral and sometimes material, must be evaluated in terms of the extent of the damage inflicted. It obliges in conscience.

Thank you so much for your response. It’s put my mind at ease greatly, even though I’m not exactly sure how I’m supposed to do reparations. The wording of the passage confuses me a bit, but I’ll study it more and get a better understanding.

I think amends have to be made or attempted if you hurt someone and they have not forgiven you they might show up with a case against you Jesus said
