Well perhaps that got your attention!

theranch.org/Messages-At-The-Ranch.4.0.html

The above link is to a Christian based spiritual retreat, I have found it really helpful in getting answers and a step-by-step guide to helping me out for something that’s on my mind. Everything from lessons in grace, to rebuilding something’s broken (career, relationship, etc.), lessons in faith, hope, freedom.

Navigate all the messages that God maybe speaking to you today from the left-hand navigation pane 🙂

It is not a Catholic source, but it’s brilliant. I stumbled upon it about 2 years ago and I feel I should pass it on to some others.

Good luck, and may all the desires of your heart come true 😃

Rather may my desires decrease and God’s desires for me increase.
I checked this out and it’s a Sola Fide and Sola ScripturaProtestant group. 😦

Did you actually read any of the messages in there or just concluded because it’s a protestant group that everything is incorrect?

You have just dismissed everything in there purely because it’s a protestant group.
38"Teacher," said John, “we saw a man driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”
39"Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40for whoever is not against us is for us. 41I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.
I think that’s important to keep in mind.

First, I didn’t mean to offend you.
Second, IMHO a group that espouses Truth in its known entirety is preferable to a group that chooses to reject some Truths.
Lastly, see my first point.
God bless.

I didn’t bother responding to your first point because it’s equally dismissable, parroting out some line that resembles some super-spiritual quote from the Bible as if praying for something is wrong 🤷

You obviously didn’t read what I said. The lessons are about faith, grace, rebuilding broken aspects of your life, etc. As the Bible says God will give you the desires of your heart, hence one of the lines in my first post, but obviously that flew straight past you.

Perhaps this now answers your first point?

Just because the Church is the One True Church doesn’t invalidate anything a Protestant group does, infact, perhaps reading what is there in your own eyes will probably solve this problem instead of having a discussion about something you haven’t properly looked at yet :rotfl:

Anymore fallacies and ignorant errors to come this way? Pass it along.

If you go back and re-read my response, my first point was, that I didn’t mean to offend you. Apparently, your only here looking for confrontation like some 22 year old kid. I’m not going to take the bait.

I read that. So much for what’s obvious.

No actually it does not, since my first point was simply to assure you that I did not mean to offend you. Rather than actually reading what I said, you want to ignore it and respond to an earlier post.

I bolded the word that sticks out in your response. Perhaps you meant to type the word “everything” instead. I would agree with you had you done so, but currently your response seems to indicate that ALL things Protestant are valid.

As for properly looking at your suggested website… I will admit that I only spent a few minutes there. That was all it took. Other than the fact that they omit SOME Truths, it actually does look like a very nice website. There are flowers and soft backgrounds on the pages. There was almost a sweet aroma of wild flowers permeating from my monitor while I was there. However, the authors of the site do not address some Truths that as Catholics we are required to believe. That is not to say that there is no Truth in the Protestant faiths by any means. Nor is it to suggest that the Protestant faiths can have no good come from them. It IS to say however, that as Catholics we should be looking toward the Catholic Church for the fullness of Truth rather than limiting ourselves by choosing to look toward the Protestants.
Anymore fallacies and ignorant errors to come this way? Pass it along.
Gee… I hope not but only you can answer that question. 👍
