Need Catholic website suggestions

[EnglishTeacher]

I’ve been discussing the Catholic faith with an Evangelical friend who seems at least somewhat interested in understanding the Catholic perspective. I’d like to find some online resources for someone with little to no background in understanding Catholicism. What are some websites (in addition to this one) that would be good for presenting basic Catholicism and clearing up typical Evangelical misconceptions?

(And while I know that there are many good books on the subject, I would just prefer website suggestions at this point, as he won’t have access to many books where he’s at right now.) Thanks!

[The_Scott]

catholic.com
newadvent.org (it has Summa Theologica and the texts from early Church Fathers)
vatican.va
thecatholicconvert.webs.com/biblecheatsheet.html (proof of Catholic basis within Scripture)
vatican.va/archive/ccc_css/archive/catechism/ccc_toc.htm (Catechism of the Catholic Church)
catholicity.com/baltimore-catechism/ (The Baltimore Catechism, a much simpler version of beliefs of the Church (from 1940s))
usccb.com

and some more that I can’t think of at the moment.

catholicculture.org/culture/reviews/ (reviews other Catholic websites. I sort of use it as the Imprimatur for websites)

I like John Martignoni and biblechristiansociety.com/home.php.
Also, of course, ewtn.com/.
I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Catholic.com tracts here: catholic.com/library/faith_tracts.asp

This site is specifically designed to answer the questions Evangelical Christians might pose to a Catholic. Lots of good stuff here. It is not as in depth as some of the websites already posted, but it is a great place to start.

This too is a site designed for a protestant mind set or revert:

thecatholictreasurechest.com/ – scroll down the page

A favorite of mine, scroll down.

Wow, lots of great suggestions. Thanks for the links, everyone! I’ll have to bookmark all theses sites. And I did send a few of them to my friend.
