Hi,

I bought the DVD and books about the Eucharistic Miracle in Buenos Aires, which doesn’t say if the EM samples were moving and beating when analyzed, like Dr. Gomez says on his Youtube video. I need someone who speaks Spanish to please tell me if the translation on Youtube is correct, is Dr. Gomez is saying the heart muscle in the EM was moving and beating?

Thanks in advance.

Here’s the video: m.youtube.com/watch?v=gC7RPJC4uDA

Nobody knows Spanish? When Gomez said that he moved his hands, making a beating, pulsating motion…does that help?

He says many times, “palpitado” which means throbbing.

He says at´3:40 “la muestra palpitaba, latía”. The verbs palpitar y latir are synonimous in spanish, he is saying: “the sample throbed, beat”

He says that right before, in English, the subtitles say he wanted an explanation, right?

He said the sample had a throbbing beat. The examiner claimed that the sample must have been a part of somebody’s heart; somebody who had been tortured and beaten severely. He also said that the red blood cells fluctuated within the sample. This is something that normally only occurs for 15 minutes and then the sample loses this privilege due to its detachment from the rest of the heart. For this sample, however, the fluctuation persisted for MUCH more time.

Exactly. I transcribe Dr Gómez says in spanish and then the literal translation (sorry, my english is not very good 🙂

3:24 Y luego ¿qué es lo que sucede?
And then, what happens?

3:26 Él dice: "pero algo ustedes me tienen que explicar,
He says: "but you have to explain something to me

3:30 ¿Cómo es posible que cuando yo estaba estudiando esta muestra, la muestra palpitaba, latía?
How is it possible that when (while) I was studying this sample, the sample throbed, beat?

3:40 Así que explíquenme, ¿cómo le sacan el corazón a un muerto y me lo traen vivo hasta mi laboratorio en Nueva York?"
So, you explain to me: how do you remove the heart from a dead (corpse) and you bring it (the heart) alive to my New York lab?

3:51 Profesor Zugibe, no es lo que usted piensa…
Prof Zugibe, it’s not what you think…
