I’m having trouble finding an English translation of the hymns, “Adoremus In Aeternam,” and “Adoro Te, O Panis.” I know that they’re both Eucharistic hymns, but I’d still love to have the English translations for both, however, I’m having trouble finding them. Thanks

Adoremus In Aeternam

Adoremus in aeternum sanctissimum Sacramentum.
Laudate Dominum omnes gentes: laudate eum omnes populi.

Quoniam confirmata est super nos misericordia ejus:
et veritas Domini manet in aeternum.
Adoremus…

Gloria Patri, Filio, et Spiritui Sancto: Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc et semper, et in saecula sæculorum. Amen.
Adoremus…
Code:
We will adore for eternity the most holy Sacrament.
Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise Him all ye peoples.

Because his mercy is confirmed upon us:
and the truth of the Lord remains forever.
Adoremus...

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost:
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Adoremus...

Is that one of them?

Yes! Thanks!

Do you know anything about the other one?

I found the words online, maybe a Latin scholar can provide the translation. (I can figure out parts of it, but not all.)
Adóro Te, o panis cóelice,
O Dómine, o Deus máxime.
Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus,
sine fine sanctus.
Semper Tibi glória
sacra sit sub hóstia.

Nos fámulos, o Deus, réspice,
Et grátia nos semper réfice.
Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus,
sine fine sanctus.
Semper Tibi glória
sacra sit sub hóstia.

Thanks! I’ve got it on a CD, but I couldn’t understand all of the Latin. Now that I actually have the Latin text, , I know what most of it means, but I’m still lost in parts of it. It sounds like a great prayer to say in adoration!

Using this page as a guide…
Adóro Te, o panis cóelice, O Dómine, o Deus máxime.
I adore You, O Heavenly Bread, O Lord, O God Most High.

Sanctus, sanctus, sanctus, sine fine sanctus.
Holy, holy, holy, holy without end.

Semper Tibi glória sacra sit sub hóstia.
Glory be to You forever in the sacred Host.

Nos fámulos, o Deus, réspice, et grátia nos semper réfice.
Remember us, O God, your servants, and feed us always by Your grace.
Here is a metrical and rhyming form of my own devising:
Bread from Heaven, I adore Thee,
Thou, my Lord and God Almighty.
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Ever Thou art Holy,
Glory to Thee forever in the Sacred Host.

Your servants kneel before Thy Face.
Lord, feed us always by Your grace.
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Ever Thou art Holy,
Glory be to Thee, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Thanks! That’s one of the best Eucharistic hymns I’ve ever heard. The version you made was great too. I had most of it figured out, but I couldn’t figure out “sine fine,” and most of the second verse.
