Need help in this!!

If the JW go by a different calender for Easter and say Jesus didn’t die on Friday, and resurrected on Sunday why do they still celebrate in the same time we did since this year was as early as it could be. the Catholic Church goes by the moon cycles ( I think correct me if I’m wrong) I know this year the JWs celebrated the memorial ( Good Friday for us RC) on Saturday so that means Monday was resurrection can some one explain?

JWs supposedly use the Jewish calendar and go by the DATE of Nissan 14th rather than the moon cycles. But even tho they claim to do this I have known them to fudge on the dates for convenience sake some years. They mainly wanted to do it on different days than other Christians to separate themselves.

but they still did it in the same month, why?

they try to accurately go by the DATE–Nissan 14th for the Last Supper not the DAY(it would be our Holy Week Thursday). They don’t celebrate the Resurrection at all (Easter Sunday).

Its like your birthday–say it is June 5th. Well last year June 5th might have been on a Tuesday but this year maybe it is on a Wednesday. Same DATE, different DAY. See?
